Royal Stewart kilt for my cousin:modeled by me

This is the kilt I've been doing the blow-by-blow about in the DIY forum. I got the tartan for $25 on ebay. It wool, twill, about 13 ounce and worsted, but not as dense as real kilting wool. It's a 5-yarder with 19 pleats. I wanted to do this one to sett, for practice but didn't have enough material to pull it off, so I did it to stripe.

If my cousin won't wear it, I WANT IT BACK, it fits me perfectly and I did a heck of a job. It wasn't kilting tartan so I had to hem it, which is a lot of work.

    He'd BETTER wear it!

On one hand I really want him to like it and wear it as it is nice, but on the other hand, I hope it ends up back with you.

Nice one! How do you find the time to work, sail, make kits and update the X-Kilt manual?

You look like you could firmly kick his arse if he doesn't wear it. Looks a little different than my royal, not as, um, annoyingly bright red. yeah, that's what I'm thinking.
