    Smile Saffron Kilt!!!

Today I got home from workand waiting for me on the doorstep was my new Stillwater Saffron kilt. Included in the box was a black belt, sporran, and kilt pin. ALSO waiting for me was my new pipers dirk!! It was a great day. Here's photos:

Here is me in my new kilt, sporran, belt, and pin.

Good view of the new dirk.

The pleats (I didn't iron the kilt yet. It's straight out of the box).

    With the smallpipes.

Overall, I was nervous that the kilt would be a bit happy, but after wearing it all day, I am VERY impressed. It is 100% wool, lightweight (but still breeze-resistant) and is made well with actual leather straps! Also, the sporran is surprising. Looks great with plenty of space.

I'm already thinking of ordering another Stillwater Kilt. They're just that great .

I'm still waiting for the Heritage Hose, but I expect them day day now. I'll have a photo of those too.

    Sweet!

I gotta say - I sorta like this look better on you. You look like you are having more fun.

Good looking kilt. Goes well with the black belt, sporran and shirt. Good cap, too. That's how I wear mine.

This is my Irish look (being it an Irish kilt and all...). Tweed cap, no ghillies, and a Guinness (which was shotgunned before the photo! )

And I'm about 6'1". The length was a good for me. Could've been a hair longer, but I'm not going to complain!

    Now THAT is saffron!

Been wanting one a long time...if there's one SWK I must might buy and then figure out how to get the length right its that saffron...

Sadly (brief whine), 24" is a dress on me.

Do you know what weight wool? Guess I could go look.

    Great looking dirk too.
