| | | The SALTIRE !
This morning a wee airship landed safely in the snow of our French Alps ... THE SALTIRE is in France !
After such a voyage only Jules Verne could have imagined she had to rest a while in the royal bed room...
Once rested, she began exploring the house, landing in the most unexpected places...
Can you see her spying a tight chess duel between Miss Louise and your servant ?
Louise is getting good at this...
It was really getting late... time to cook a meal .
The Saltire could smell the onions and the ginger sizzling in olive oil and honey...
The Saltire joins us for lunch..
Cheers ! (Louise is taking the photo, better than mine...)
More to come...
Best,
Robert

Of course she was there when we were trying to figure out the pleating of English Bloke's next kilt in Lindsay Modern
She made her way to the sewing room where Milady Chrystel is working on an 18th century style waistcoat.
Then up the stairs in my office...
The following week the Saltire will be crossing the Alps all the way down to the Italian Riviera, then she will be sailing for a whole night going to the island of Corsica.
Then leaving the Mediterranean, driving on land more than a thousand miles, she will be tasting a different salty ocean : the Atlantic ! The mythical Island of Ré...
More to come...
Best,
Robert

Wonderful photos so far Robert, it sounds like the wee airship will be busy while she visits.

Very nice photos, Robert. I hope the airship remembered to bring its mittens along for the snow.
