    Sat trip ..

Our Sat bus trip to an old pub turned out a washout!
When we got there it was closed due to the owners going away to a family wedding for the weekend. Anyjow just up the road was the Nags Head .. an 18th Century Coaching Inn, and really posh. 2 Beers and 3 SMALL Irish Coffees came to £18.95 .. we soon took off after that and landed in a modern town boozer for some cheaper beers n things and cheese toasties ... will return again shortly to the other pub, that goes back to around 16th century.
Only a few pics from the Nags ..

...and to paraphrase the old joke:

So the barkeeper says to Derek, "You know, we don't get many kilties in here."

And Derek says, "At these prices, I'm not suprised."

Here in Chicago they might soak you mucho dinero for the drink but they usually put out a generous spread of complimentary canapes and other goodies.

Nice pics, sorry they soaked you for the drinks, I guess you'll give the Nags Head a pass next time.

Thanks for the pictures...and the heads up about the prices! I guess they figured if you could afford a kilt you could afford those prices ;-)

    It certainly LOOKS posh.

I wouldn't really call it a washout, you got to spend some time with the ones you care for. Great pics.
