    Savannah Scottish Games

    Just a few pics from Games here Savannah.

    What better picture is there to show that we have Scottish ancestry and we're in the south.




    The massed bands begin the welcoming ceremony.






    The MacKay's: from right to left, Scott and the lovely Deborah, and Ken Carter, an honorary MacKay for a day.




    My apologies to Scott and Deborah, this was the better of the two pictures I took at the MacKay booth.




    Oh yes, and there were games...the caber toss is always my favorite.

    Great pics! When I lived in Savannah, I used to go every year. Back then the Games were held in Old Fort Jackson on the river.

    I could go for some haggis and grits right now...!
