    SCD Christmas Party

I'm just getting ready for my SCD Christmas Party, tonight is the last class before the holidays. I decided to wear the Isle of Skye as my classmates have not seen this one yet, and a blue shirt with the Ancient Scot Argyll Top hose from Hawick, proving I think that the shirt and hose do not need to match. Oh and can you see anything else different about my appearance? Here are some photos.

It looks good, especially with the Argyll tops. Um, I don't want to be the first to tell you this, but it appears your beard has fallen off!

I think your hypothesis that shirt and hose do not need to match is particularly true if the hose contain accent colors that do match the shirt.

    Great outfit.

Looking very smart there. I really do think that one can get too wound up with all this matching up business. It is really not necessary and it seems to be held as a far more important matter over your side of the Atlantic than ours. All that is required is a:" damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead" attitude and all will be well.

Looking smart as always - losing the beard makes you look younger but it would have kept your face warmer during the Canadian winter!

    Looking good, Glen.
The outfit and the clean shaven look will make the young ladies swoon.

    Gle,

Shouldn't these pictures of you as a young lad be posted in the "vintage photo" thread? ;-)

Obviously the beard was what was keeping you from smiling in photos! The stern expression is modified!!
