    Scottish Studies Boat Cruise

Today was the Scottish Studies Foundation Boat Cruise around the Toronto Islands on the Empire Sandy. Originally I was going to go with my Aunt unfortunately she twisted her knee and was therefore unable to attend, I just hope she recovers quickly. I was unable to give away the remaining ticket I had so I went down on my own. I saw a few familiar faces and met some new people as well, all in all it was a good day. Here are some photos

This is what happens when you pass your camera out at the end of the cruise

Canadians are so futuristic... with their wind powered ships, alternative energy, and polite citizens. Their geodesic domes, solving gun violence, living somewhere global warming might actually benefit...

A great set of piccies there, Glen. It appears that everyone was having a super time.

I am reminded so clearly of the trip I took across to a park on one of the islands whilst staying in Oakville back in 1996 - the Toronto skyline is particularly impressive from across the water.

    Take care,
    Ham.
