Scottish Tartans Museum visits Scottish Borders

The Scottish Tartans Museum's Scottish tour passed through the Scottish Borders today and made a brief stop at Abbotsford House, one time home of Sir Walter Scott.

Mael Coluim was on the tour along with Chuck from the Scottish Tartans Museum.
Appropriately Mael Coluim was wearing his Matt Newsome boxpleat kilt in Xmarksthescot tartan.

The group from further back, showing part of the facade of Abbotsford House. Chuck assured me he would be wearing his kilt at dinner in Edinburgh later in the day.

All too soon it was time to board the bus again to continue on towards Edinburgh.

What great photos! It's nice seeing Chuck having a great time (albeit in jeans, I still see he is sporting his sporran and bonnet in good fashion).
I hope everyone enjoys the remainder of their trip!
