SHO Box pleated Mcdonald Lord of the Isles & Tartans Museum Hose

Here are some pics of my 16 OZ MLI box pleated Kilt and in my Burns Night Dinner finery in the foyer, from the fellows at SHO. The Hose I am wearing came from Tartans Museum and are the PERFECT color match.

Sorry the pics are so blurry but I cant train the photographer no matter how hard I try.

I have one of those! I've got a SHO box pleat on the way, too. Yours looks great... what I can see of it!

I'm glad you like the hose, you are right they are a good match for that tartan.

Interesting choice on the kilt to pleat it to an asymmetric element of the sett, as opposed to one of the symmetrical pivots of the tartan. Was that your choice or the kiltmakers?

    Hi Matt-
Evan had seen pics of my box pleat in this tartan in which I used this pleating scheme. I'm always looking for something a little different and liked the way this turned out, so he went with it also. Here are pics of mine-

Love the Kilt. Prefer the Box pleating, and am a big fan of 16oz 4-5 yard Kilts as opposed to the monster 8 yarders.

Is that an ancestor in the painting? His barber was certainly lazier than yours! Your style suits you - and so does the kilt! Beautiful garment, and you're right - the match is excellent!
