So how did I do?
Someone finally managed to snap a pic while I was out. It's a little blurry.
Do I pass? Or is it straight to the "Don't" list?

Nice casual look. I hope that it is appropriate to the local.

The photo is a bit small...I'd try to be a bit larger the next time someone is taking your picture.
Other than that, you look good!
Ah! My bad! it's a thumbnail. And you still look good!

The shirt must have a clever kilt-related phrase or picture printed on it, preferably in a celtic type script...(kiltie law)
Just kidding, looks sharp!

Looks good... I would probably switch the semi-dress sporran out for a day sporran, and maybe use a kilt belt that has a normal buckle on it, instead of the usual silver dress buckle...
Otherwise, looks comfortable.

I would agree with John. A more casual sporran would be best along with a simple belt. Other than that it looks like you pulled if off.

Overall it looks good, however I would agree about the sporran and belt, it's not a big deal but at some point I'm sure you'll want another sporran, and you can go from there.
