    Solid colour tanks ?

Lately, Lady Chrystel was asked to make solid colour knife pleated kilts...

I thought I should share the results with you .

Though I am personally more into tartan and tweed fabrics, I must admit these do have a certain charm about them. The material is from Lochcarron.

    In green...

    blue...

    and maroon...

While I see myself in tartan more than a solid colour, I must say these are all lovely. Lady Chrystel has indeed done it again.

As nice as they undoubtedly are (and they are nice), I really like the hose that you are wearing with them!

    Wow...

Robert, while I am more of a tartan person, I must say those kilts are stunning. Lady Chrystel has done it again.

I do like solid colours almost as much as tartans and these look fantastic. BEAUTIFUL work, as usual.

    Wonderful!

I have one question -- I notice all the kilts seem to have a hem. If the cloth is Lochcarron fabric, I'm assuming it has a closed kilting selvage (all the fabric I have ever ordered from them does). So why the need for a hem?

Also, one further comment. I love the hose tops! These are JUST like the "small argyle" hose cuffs that my wife knits for us, here:

    Here's a picture of mine.

Great minds think alike (and have similar tastes in hose, it seems!)

    Robert,

I like the look of all of the solid color kilts. However, I am a little partial to the maroon one because I am an Arizona State University Alumni. Our school colors are maroon and gold. I will have to order one of those from your wife in the future so that I can stand out from the other fans at the sporting events which I attend on a regular basis.

    Sincerely,

    Jeff

    my mistake.

I got confused :a customer sent us fabric for 4 kilts. Only one of them was from Lochcarron, these solid colour fabric weren't...
