Re: Some of the deep fried goodness from the Texas State Fair
Some of that stuff sounds disgusting, but one of these days I want to try them just so I can say I have!
I don't know what it is about breading and frying stuff, but it makes everything taste good.
Question... those numbers after the items on the signs. Are those prices?! Twelve bucks for a fried peanut butter, jelly, and banana sandwich? Do people really pay that?

Note quite that bad. That is the price in tickets. Fifty cents each so divide them in half.

Except for corny dogs, I stayed away from the fried stuff.

Re: Some of the deep fried goodness from the Texas State Fair
I think seven of my arteries slammed shut just reading the menu boards......
Here in South Carolina we have fried green tomatoes, fried dill pickles, fried shrimp, fried oysters, and fried gator tail, but the sign of fried butter was more than I can even imagine.....
Your sporran looks great by the way!!
