    Some gents from WW2

My uncle served in the Air Force during WWII, and while across the pond he met these gents. No information is provided on the photo, unfortunatley. My dad found it while going through a pile of his old papers and gave it to me.

Nice display of kilts, jackets, glengarries and balmoral. They are indeed having a great time.

    Thanks Nick,

You reminded my my folks used to have a drinking friend who was a piper and wore the full regalia. Might have a pic of him circa 1955 in the family archives...will go look soon.

Which one's your uncle? The second from left looks really familiar but I can't get a context.

I'm pretty sure he's not in the picture. From what my dad said they're all guys he met while there. It would be really cool if you know who any of them are, though. Small world, eh?

sorry, I didn't mean that I knew him, I'm recognizing him from tv or something. I've seen him before.
