    Some new toys, Part 1

Been meaning to post these for awhile. I'm home sick today and bored out of my mind. Apologies for the blurry pics. I'm not at my best when sick and don't have the energy to take new ones. Enjoy

My new watch. I got it a local Irish import store. It will take up to a 2 inch belt. For wider belts, I use a carabiner and hook it to the belt loops on my kilt. I only wear it with my UKs or those other leg covering things. The thing I like about it versus other watches I've seen is that this one opens "upside down" so you can read it without any difficulty.

My new dirk. I got it from a man who's selling his sword collection.
    The dirk in it's sheath

    The dirk and sheath together

Close up of the handle. I forget what the wood is called. It's not ebony, but it looks just like and is just as hard.

Nice. I like the watch. Is the watch part of the case or can a standard size watch be put into the case?

Their store sponsored the Best Legs In A Kilt contest. He tries hard
to be part of the community. I try hard to spend my money on stores like that. Hmm, that explains the low bank account!
