Some photos from the AZ Ren Fair

Proudly showing off my prized hand made sporran and my tree of life belt buckle. Not so proudly showing off my sweat stains. It was hot that day. I found a custom boot maker that day. Oh man, talk about jonesing. I cannot wait until I can afford the boots they make.

Tartanic in concert! They brought the house down with each song. And in this case, they brought down his upper frequencey range!

A broom shop. I just love the tree.

This has nothing to do with the ren fair. I went on a hike in Sabino Canyon, kilted of course, and thought I'd share the experience.

Cool. I went last year and it was too hott then, as well.

I've seen some of those shoes and boots, also the leather and metal work, they have out there; real nice stuff.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Oh, they do. It is in the realm of strange-bizarre, though. There's people drest in everyday clothing too.

I wondered, because all the patrons the photos are in mundane (everyday) clothing. Maybe it's the heat!
