    Spent the morning with Alex

So this morning I went down to Alex's hotel and picked him up, as he wanted to go to a tartan shop to pick up a kilt pin, I took him up to Cairngorm Scottish Imports where we found this most curious display

Alex got photos of both of us with Peter who works there, but those photos will have to wait until Alex can upload them.
I then took Alex to Casa Loma, her are some pictures.

Jamie did you misplace your hat?

Here's Alex making his way to the gardens

We thought we'd do some at the sundial in honour of Hamish

    a few more to come

    I know this looks familiar

Some of the flowers in the garden

Apparently we were quite the attraction, we were stopped for photos by a couple from Russia, and then a family from New York.

Those are all the photos I was able to take, after we fought our way to the car through our adoring fans we went out for lunch, I got a phone call from my sister and had to take care of some family business so I dropped Alex off at the CN Tower, I wish i could have gone with him but it was not possible.

I wonder if this is the first time that Alex has seen a castle intact? Oh and who's the blond in the last pic?

    Great pics!

It's easy to see why folks wanted to take pictures of you 2 gents. However, I'm a bit confused, McMurdo, how in one photo you're wearing a white polo shirt & then the next photo we see of you, you've got a whole different outfit on - black polo shirt, different kilt, sporran, hose, etc.

    Wha' 'appened???

My god Alex, do you need a house? You're just about somewhere else every other day. Did you fly yourself over? I did Toronto in 1997, really liked it, especially china town. Hope you enjoy it. Great to meet McMurdo too eh?

I enjoyed the pics, but am so disappointed that a real live authentic tartan shop is selling a "kilt in a box." What's the world coming to? I mean, I expect it on ebay and the like, but to have a respected tartan shop selling stuff like that. . . .
