We lost one of the white Chinese last year, probably to feral dogs, and we recently lost several chickens to Raccoons. Every night, my wife and I herd the, all into a metal shed and securely lock the doors. As for the coons, let's just say that two of them won't be back.

Goose land mines are an issue where I live - one of the local swimming beaches gets closed every summer due to e. Coli attributed to the Canadian geese that have stay year-round in the area. Might be a good job for one of the local shelter inhabitants, get a border collie to run the buggers off.
