St Patrick's Day gig in San Francisco

Friend's pics from Saturday's gig are starting to slowly roll in. Here's a couple (I'm wearing my USAK Ireland's National and my Thorfinn sporran--Maggie's wearing her All Ireland mini Sport Kilt):

Thanks! We got lucky with the great weather--it was raining the day before. The crowd was huge and raucous.

That makes for a great gig. Wish I could have been there. Maybe my next trip down to the Bay Area, if you're playing I'll find you.

Looks like you had a great time! I enjoyed the video of you posted on FaceBook.. and I was impressed on my YouTube search of the MadMaggies... so cool to be on the Black Donnelleys.. I enjoyed listening to your cut on that scene... Keep it kicking, my friend...

Peacekeeper83, glad you like our stuff! The Black Donnelly's was a bit of serendipity. Out of the blue we got a call--apparently Paul Haggis really liked our tune. Close to 10 million people watched the pilot--and we got 2:50 of air time. Amazing! Too bad the show didn't take off (I thought it was quite good), but we got paid well and we have a DVD of the pilot for the archives.

Here's a view from the stage of the SF St. Pat's crowd (that's the City Hall) taken by Maggie while we were setting up:

And another of yours truly sporting my new USAK Ireland's National semi trad:

Just got a bunch of GREAT photos from a friend. I'll post a few more when I've got a little free time.

    Sláinte!

Now that looks like a great St. Patrick's Day.
