| | | Stag Burns Supper
I thought everyone might like to see a piccie from our "stag" Burns Supper in Springfield last evening:
That's "yours truly" offering the first toast of the evening, the poem "Robert Burns" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow:
"His presence haunts this room tonight. A form of mingled mist and light from that far coast. Welcome beneath this roof of mine! Welcome! This vacant chair is thine, Dear guest and ghost!"
Cheers,
Todd

Yes, that is a bottle of Laphroaig -- and a bottle of Macallan 12 yr. to its right.
Cheers,
Todd

Just curious, but is the guy in the middle of the table just wearing a fancy jacket, or Welsh as they often match the cuffs and collar on formal wear?

Phil | Phil:
It's similar to this jacket being worn by HRH The Duke of Rothseay:
Cheers,
