    Exclamation Stop the Torment

I understand. I do. I know you're excited. You just got your new kilt. It looks great. It fits great. It feels great. It's great. I'm happy for you. I really am. But listen, when you come here to tell us all about how great it all is, if you do so without posting pictures FIRST!!! then you're really just here to torment the rest of us, aren't you? It's like telling a child you've got ice cream, but she can't have any because you didn't bother to bring a scoop to serve it with, a bowl to put it in or a spoon with which to eat it. Do us all a favour please. If you're not ready to post pictures keep the secret until you are. When you are ready to share with photos so that we can actually join in the celebration then we will all be so overjoyed for you and with you. We will tell you exactly how wonderful we think you look, what a great choice you've made, how all the ladies (or gents as the case may be) will swoon for you and that you'll be the envy of the room. But until you post the pictures, I don't want to know about it. I just can't take the anxiety of seeing a new thread entitled New Thingamabob Kilt in this Show us your pics forum only to click on it and discover that there are no pics and read the unsatisfying promise that you will get around to it. Some days there are multiple threads just like that. Like today. So please, consider your fellow kilties and try not to put us thought such distress. Be thoughtful about it. Please. I just can't take it.

Speak for yourself, xman. I want written descriptions or it didn't happen.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

...Which is precisely the reason why I made a suggestion in the suggestion box some time ago, asking Steve to implement a new smiley! (http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...smilies-64155/)

So, again.... Can we have some new smilies? Pleeease? Pretty please?

So if a kilt is worn, and nobody is there to take pics,is the guy is running around naked?

Written descriptions aren't as bad as "pictures coming soon" IMO. That's just teasing!

Anyone who puts us through the torture of posting about a new kilt, and is so heartless as to not post pics of their own, deserves to have this one added to their post.
