Haven't joined yet... But I'm certainly interested. Got a couple folk I ran into in the military I never got a chance to compare family trees with to see if we were indeed related; or just part of the larger Clan carrying the Sutherland sur-name. The more I learn about the Clans, the more fascinated I get! Sadly, my Grandmother has passed on (she was big on that stuff), and my Grandfather is on his deathbed (and frankly, I'd be hesitant to ask him, as he is both senile and might also have Alzheimers... but given his age, its pretty common!). Sadly, my friend Stephen Sutherland Jr. was killed in Iraq before we could come home and compare notes... But it would have been interesting!

Welcome from Fairbanks. My wife works down in North Pole, her favorite universal sett is, drum roll, Black Watch. I am sure I'll hear about it if she sees you.

I love my VFFs also and have blue camo Classics, taupe Sprints, and black KSOs. I have worn my Sprints with a modern got kilt?, but have not yet worn VFFs with a tartan kilt. I have worn my blacked out KSOs with a suit in dress mode. I'm not sure the black Injinji toe socks would go with a kilt, though. You've given me inspiration. I may need to try them on sometime with a tartan kilt and see if my wife likes the look.

Welcome to XMarks from the far north of Scotland and well done. Take the zero out of 40 and I might just make it

No I wear a pair of technical boxers ( x - bionic ) they help wick away any sweat and the added ventilation keeps everything nice and fresh, i previously wore the same boxers under shorts for long races and it wasnt as effective so its definately the kilt thats the difference maker.
I dont seem to get too hot or too cold down below now, the kilt creats its own micro climate
By the way if your looking for a sweat resistant lubricant, try sudocream or similar.

    YOOWZAA!!
My work involves environmental testing of vehicle seats. We go from 85C down to -40C. -40C is COLD. We had a guy freeze his contact lenses because he stayed in a little too long.
