Taking the Isle of Skye to new heights
Today I decided to go down to the CN Tower as I have not been there for a great many years. It is still as awe inspiring as ever, and it was a wonderful day to go as it is quite warm for the end of October.
One thing though I would like to ask before I get to the pictures, does anyone still live in Coatbridge? You see my mom is from Coatbridge, and it seems that wherever I go I meet someone from Coatbridge, today was no exception, on the sky pod I met a man and woman from Scotland he was born in Coatbridge, of all the places in the world to meet up with someone from the same small town as my mom I never thought it would be on the sky pod.
Here are my photos

Having had the pleasure...there are very few things that are as cool as the CN Tower. And I've longed to go back and get out on that glass floor kilted...glad to see that you had the same idea.

Awesome pics. Thanks for sharing. I love going to high places (mountains, towers, church spires, etc...) I need to find something tall to climb up now....

Thanks much for the pix. It reminds me of my trip to the top several years ago.

Super pics, McMurdo. It was very interesting to see so much of Toronto in your views.
Coatbridge - Well no I'm not from there but my wife's uncle (her mother's brother) married into the Forrest family from Plains, which is about four miles from Coatbridge - Forrest's Road Haulage and Forrest the Florists were quite well known businesses around the Airdrie and Coatbridge area.

Great pics!
I remember when I went up the tower in 2000 - my stomach was still at the bottom when my body arrived at the observation deck!
NO WAY would I stand on the clear bit! I otherwise felt fine on the observation deck but when I reached the Sky Pod I was getting vertigo! It was swaying!
Great views though!
