Years ago, Barbara Brandon, who was instrumental in the design and adoption of the Arkansas state tartan, sent me a tie and a AR tartan day button. I think her husband Frank has passed away since then, but I wonder if Barbara is still active with the AR Scottish community?

Had I been thinking, I would have alerted the Scottish Club of Ft. Smith about this event.

I had a great time at the Capital for Tartan Day. Everyone did a great job putting it together.

Looks like a red-letter day. I was to attend, but was called awa' to pipe for a funeral.
Congratulations to the Arkansas Scottish community.
