Like the Kilt alot as well. I just ordered a Macdonald of Clanranald, muted from Scotweb to give them a try. Love the Marton Mills colors. I have a little girls waist, and hips so that the 5 yd. 16oz Kilts work well for me, although this one the pleats seem to rise out a little on me.

Looks like you may have a bit of the same problem I do. Some folks call it being long bodied, but that's just to hide the truer meaning of short legged. I am coincidentally sewing a MacDonald of the Isles Modern for myself right now and am giving myself some extra fell length to compensate.

Nice looking kilt on ye. I think we're both shooting for the same tartans you and I.

Love the first picture - great colour contrast between you and the little "distraction" in red. I am sure every parent knows of a moment exactly like that one.

Nice kilt, Evan. And what tartan is the wee lad wearing?
That first picture is the best!

Love the first picture too cousin. Have the same tartan only in the brown, weathered from Lochcarron.

The little terror is wearing Macdonald Modern. Thats my son Gillie. We took 6 pics and he was at it in everyone. They are almost funny to look at because of the various places he winds up in the pics. They were all taken within' a minutes time and he is everywhere.
