| | | A Tennessee Burns' Night
Here are a few photos from our Burns' Night held last night. The dinner was originally scheduled for January 30th, but due to the Winter storm that covered most of Tennessee, it was postponed until last night. Joining my wife and myself at our table was xmarker, Mrtackytn and his co-worker John. I was honored to carry the haggis into the banquet room for its address. It was a wonderful evening filled with poetry, song, pipes, harps, and dance.
On with the photos.
The haggis being addressed.
Five pipers performing a melody
Xmarkers
Mrtackytn on the left, myself in the middle, and John on the right.
This was my first opportunity to wear my new custom, diced, castellated hose. I had them to match the hunting Barclay kilt. I purchased them from the Tartan Museum. They fit like a glove. I look forward to many years of wearing them.

I really like those castellated hose! You made a good choice with them. And that red vest really brightens up the room as well. I'm glad the night got to happen after all the winter we've had.

Gosh those red eyes and the pose in the first picture are really effective.

The new hose look great, Heath! I like the coordinating flashes and waistcoat, as well. Really brings the red in the tartan out.

Looks like the evening was well worth waiting for despite the postponement.
