    Testing camera

Purchased a new cheap n cheerful pocket size camera a few days ago and today is the first opportunity I have had to try it out. I started with the self timer while I got on with the instruction leaflets.

Then I went to town to get some socks and went via the indoor market to try the camera out . These are the best o' the bunch

Then I met the wife in one of the Wetherspoons

These are the guest beers going to be offered during the Christmas period

And here are the socks I got in Slaters menswear .. £8 They are thick, durable and warm ... I bought 2 pairs from them a few weeks ago to try em' out.

Very nice. One of the keys to good photography that I've found is something that you mentioned about that camera: pocket sized. You can have all of the "good stuff" at home because it's just too hard to carry it everywhere but that one decent pocket sized camera that you can just throw in a....er...pocket...or sporran...is the keeper because it's there when you see something interesting. The little cameras are also good because they don't call attention to themselves and people are more spontaneous around them where they might get all formal when the "serious" looking camera comes out.

    Use it well and enjoy!

Derek the camera looks to be working just fine. Do you think there is anyway to get me one of the Christmas Ale posters it would be a great addition to my Clan Claus stuff.
