Texas Bluebonnett on the Colorado River

So my long time friend Janet came through town today just in time to hop a raft down Glen Canyon of the Colorado River. Seemed a good time to baptize my new Texas Bluebonnett from USA Kilts -semitraditional model.

A hot day for sure - got to cool off in the 47 degree water at Petroglyph Beach.

And got a photo with Janet

And another pic with our river guide and long time friend Frank

And another with just the fat guy and the raft

After the raft trip we drove out to Antelope Point Marina on the Navajo Reservation and on the Colorado River channel of Lake Powell - above the dam. Had dinner, then near sunset snapped some pics. That's Tower Butte in the background.

Knowing how hot it can get in the canyon, I'm glad to see you cooling off in the Colorado.

Hi, River – an excellent way to inaugurate your new kilt.
It’s a great tartan, by the way.

Great photos Ron! Hopefully I'll be getting my Bluebonnet kilt from Rocky in the next 2 or 3 weeks.
