On Friday’s I don my kilt! It’s my take on from casual Fridays. Although this week I wore a belted plaid as it was All Hollow’s Eve (Halloween).
Sure enough, I had a number of members of the community I manage come to see what I was wearing today. The photo below came about when one of my residents came to pay her monthly assessment. I had earlier in the week a conversation with her and her two visiting daughters. When she saw the kilt she wanted her daughters to check it out. So here I am with her and one of the daughters who was full of questions about the kilt.
After work I stopped by the local Ukrop’s grocery store. I got thumbs up from one of the young associates named Samuel. He confessed he wanted to get a kaki or camo kilt. I gave him the X Marks the Scot web address and told him to check out the info and kilt makers. He told me his sister has said she will only marry a man who has the guts to wear a kilt! Anyone looking for a fair lass?
