Toronto's 1st Annual Tartan Day

Just a few pix from our first annual Tartan Day, a decent turnout considering the cold damp wind (memories of Aberdeen) and vitually zero promotion.

A few Highland dancers, Pipers, Caledon The Scottish Tenors and a few kilted audience members. Our first its a good start.

Cheers
Dave

Sorry to hear that the publicity could have been better

Was the event located near City Hall?

Yes it was, Nathan Phillips Square, usually you get fair number of folk out there during lunch anyways.. just a little blustery. I'm sure we'll get more out for the second annual... I had a few requests from the ladies around the office to come in kilted more often, may be sporting the Prince Charlie for the all employee meeting in June.

Thanks for the pictures, Dave. At least there was no snow! I noticed that there the cadets and the colour party were wearing different tartans. Do you know which units they were from?
