Toronto's Castle
I am not sure if some of you know that Toronto has a castle. Casa Loma was the home of Sir Henry Mill Pellatt, construction was begun in 1911. Sir Henry a prominent Toronto financier, industrialist and Military man, engaged architect E.J. Lennox to help him realize a life long dream-the creation of a medieval castle overlooking Toronto.
It took 300 men nearly 3 years to complete and cost $3,500,000 at the time.
Casa Loma is now owned by the city of Toronto, and run by the Kiwanis Club.
So onto the pictures

No, I never knew Toronto had a castle, thanks for posting the pics.
More modern than Scotland's castles, but still very impressive.
