Trip to Amsterdam

End of September my wife and I spent some really fine days in Amsterdam and I should like to share a few of the pictures I took with you.
Amsterdam is a city that I can really recommend. Beautiful houses, bridges and canals. Fine places to eat and fair prices. You’ll see all cultures there and – apparently – mixed in a good way. Amsterdam is most kilts friendly, too, or should I say kilt accepting. I have a feeling that even if you were walking around the streets naked, hardly any person should take notice.
I got only one comment. It was from a young man on his bicycle shouting “nice kilt” and showing thumbs up.
We stayed at a nice hotel near the central railway station, Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam. I can recommend that, too.

Thanks for these. Amsterdam is indeed a lovely city. Maybe someday when I'm there I'll make it OUTSIDE of the airport and actually get to see a bit of the city.

Hi Midsmed

A kilted Swede, and from Halmstad!
I have been in Halmstad several times kilted. Nice city and I especially love the coast line south of Halmstad.
