    Trying out the Red thing

    Hi all
I'm trying out the Red thing that others have done and decided to take a couple of pictures I'm also wearing yellow garter ties that I found on ebay. I really need a haircut, but have been dealing with a migraine for the past week therefore I didn't want anyone touching my head, I didn't even shave until this morning. Anyway here are the photos.

That ensemble looks great, I like the choice of colour for the garter ties. Which tartan is that? It's beautiful. I haven't tried a red outfit, but you make it look good.

Thanks that is the Ulster Red Tartan. The kilt was made by Matt Newsome, and I was lucky enough to get it from Woodsheal when he sold it last year.

Looks great! I can't wait till Matt gets some at the musem giftshop. Yellow is the only colour I really want.
I hope your migraine is getting better. I get them too, and they are no fun!

    Thanks Sara
It's no doubt due to the change in pressure, as it rained quite a bit, I thought it had finally left today I had a few hours of relief, but now it's back.

I think I need to try that again... the last time I got dressed up like that was on October 31st and I was ready to go out, and my wife said "Nice - but you do realize that today is Halloween?"

Well I didn't want for people to think that it was some kind of costume, so I went and changed into more somber colors. I had put on a red long sleeved shirt, MacQueen tartan, red hose and flashes, and I liked it. I think I'll try that tomorrow.

You and Ron may well have started a trend!

Looks sharp. I wore red hose with my Georgia tartan last Saturday to the Savannah games.

    Glen,

A bold outfit but a good one. I like the yellow garter ties a lot.

Sorry to hear you suffer migraines. Have you tried Imitrex? It made a world of difference to me.

    Cheers

Yes I was on Imitrex about 5 years ago however they sort of stopped working for me after a while.
