Trying something different
Firstly this is a picture of my wife, my niece and, my sister. That said what do you think of using a polo style T under a Braemar jacket. It gave a more casual feel I liked it I just wondered what you lads think.

I personally like that style very much. I've long worn jackets w/ polos and trousers. Now I just have to get a kilt jacket so I can do the same w/ Kilts.

Looks good David. It gives you a nice dressy casual look. If that makes any sense?

I personally am not a fan of the short-sleeve shirt and jacket, but that is my preference. The pics are great, and the polo/jacket works very well for you!

I too wear jacket/polo combo when trousered. So... this works for me! I also need a kilt length jacket in a bad way.

If the jacket were tweed, or just grey or navy I think it would be fine. The black seems to my eyes a tad too formal for the polo.

I agree, the outfit would be better with a shirt, otherwise great picture

I agree with Panache. Also, and this is probably just me, but I'd suggest a different colour of hose. To me, the rest of the outfit is more subdued in colouring and then there's the bright white hose.

I don't think I could ever wear a shirt w/out some cuff w/ a jacket. Even though I am wearing one today, I am not a polo shirt fan. The look is o.k. and may be more suited to a more casual tweedy jacket or kilt blazer. O'Neille
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

Nice look. I don't see the problme wearing the kilt with a polo shirt. Then again, I used to wear torn jeans and white t-shirt with a suit jacket......
