    Tucson Meet Yourself

So this past weekend my wife was out of town, so Arami and I took Saturday and went down to the Tucson Meet Yourself ethnic festival. I went to watch the Hugh O'Conor Memorial Pipe Band which I am going to be joining shortly as it has a lot of my old band mates from 15 years ago. They also had an excellent uillean piper there along with a few Irish Step dancers. This was also the first outing in which Arami was able to wear her kilt! She and I both went kilted, I am waiting for the one pic of us trogether to get emailed to me.
    Enjoy!
    Cheers,
    Chad

What a great name for a pipe band in Tucson -- the first commandante of the presidio and an Irish soldier-of-fortune! Of course, the Spanish, according to legend, pronounced his surnmae "Oconor".

Thank you puddlemuddle for the wonderful pictures of your daughter and Tucson. I lived in Tucson many years ago and enjoyed Tucson Meet Yourself very much. I loved the city and have visited many times since I left but never seemed to get back there at the right time for the festival. Thanks again.
