    Twelve day California vacation

I just returned from a nice relaxing twelve day California vacation. I only wore my kilt four times during my vacation and was met with success every time I wore it.

Who would have thought that I would run into two Scotsmen in Palm Springs, CA?

    Welcome sign.

I was taking a lunch break while hiking up in the San Jacinto Mountains.

    One big rock!

This is the view as you drive towards the visitor center.

    Tree Beatles

    A ranger cabin.

A well deserved beer at the end of my 12 mile hike.

    The tram.

I've taken that tram! It's quite a ride. Been up it and hiked around the park at Mt. San Jacinto Several times during stays in Palm Springs.

    Ron,

    I found what?

I thought of wearing my Sprt Kilt Boulder Kilt in MARPAT but had wore it the day before and was not sure how cold it was going to be up top.
