two Carolina kilts, one great concert

Thursday night (3/18/10) the Mrs. and I attended a wonderful concert by "Celtic Crossroads." http://www.celticcrossroads.ie/index.html
If they're going to be near you, I highly recommend their show.

We met davidlpope and his lovely wife. Here's a shot him and me in the lobby at intermission:

After the show we "ran into" a few more kilties:

David knows the couple beside him, and the young man beside me is a recent high school grad who's very interested in all all things Scottish.

We got to talk with a few folks about starting a St. Andrew's Society for the foothills (and maybe mountains) of western North Carolina. It was a very enjoyable evening, and several people were giving us "the eye". Can you blame them?
