    US Navy Dining Out

From last evening at the Madison Hotel in downtown Memphis.

The occasion was a formal dinner for PERS-43 officers, known as a Dining Out. Other branches may refer to them as Regimental Dinners or Mess Nights.
I performed throughout & they were gracious enough to ask me to remain for supper. And they paid me too.

Glad I didn't hafta get up early this morning - but I bet they did.

    Slainte yall,
    steve

DUDE - you make me sound like a gigolo.

Well, perhaps, in a way, I am. The money's good though.

I'm not a piper, but I can show up in a kilt and stand around
I don't even have to be paid, just let me hang out and enjoy the food, drink, and company.

Nice looking doublet, BTW. Would love to see a pic of the whole ensemble.

Looks like you had a good time!
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Great pic! It looks like they were into the port. I'm glad you had fun and got paid too. I like your doublet and other accessories.

I purchased the tunic from www.glengarryhats.com.

I've been very pleased with it. And chicks really dig it. Maybe I am just a gigolo.

It took me a while to figger out why so many women give me their keys.

    Eat your hearts out.
