USAKilts Solid Color Semi-Traditonal

On Monday the 2nd, my USAKilts black semi-tradtional came in. First, some history on it. About a year and a half I started wear kilts almost all the time when not at work in my suit. I'm in the church choir and on Good Friday, the choir members wear all black/dark blue for the service. The pastors and most of the church members have thought my kilts were cool, but two women made it a point to turn around last year when we talked about it and said, "that means you can't wear a kilt." On the way home after practice that night, my wife said, "That does it, no matter what we have to do, you have to have a black kilt for next year." Lo and behold, Rocky and Kelly's new offering was solid colored semi-traditionals and we got one ordered in February for delivery in time for Good Friday. The one woman that instigated the comment was ill, so I didn't see her reaction, but the other one, who is more of a follower didn't say anything. Another woman who has always liked the kilts saw it and said, "Cool, a black one." So, here's how I wore it for the service.

Great outfit. I love my solid black kilt, the most versatile of all the kilts I own.

Just one thing, you need to tie your tie a little shorter so it doesn't hang over your belt buckle.

Cheers

Jamie

A sharp look. I've one of Rocky's saffron semi-trads. There's a lot you can do with "basic black."

Too bad the other lady was ill. You could have reminded her that the purpose of the season was unbifurcated too.
