    USMC Marathon

I started to wear this the other day and later changed into something else, but I did manage to get a photo before the change.

I posted pictures of this before inside the house, but the sunny November evening was no match for and inside flash shot. This is my first Sportkilt in non-traditional pattern. I thought the British military belt and tan army desert boots go well with the kilt.

The t-shirt is the USMC Marathon shirt that is given to all racers. I have the finisher’s medal packed away in a box somewhere and that would really tie the whole outfit together.

I like the kilt and the combo with belt and boots looks really good.

The belt really goes well with your kilt IMHO. So, how did the marathon go?

This is from the 1996 Marathon it was my first try at running 26.2 miles. My finish time was 4:05:20 and my finish place was 4970 and the funny thing was that my race number was 4965.

I ran the Lejuene Marathon in 98 in 4:58:44. while active duty with 1/8.

I'd love to run the big show one day. We need a rabble o' kilted Marines doing a "Caber Mote' run"

Ah, Lejeune... I was with 1/10 there.
