    A very happy day!!!Kilt

Well, I won a Kilt on ebay that is really something special for me.
Since I was about 14 years old and first saw the Macdonald of Clanranald tartan I WANTED a Kilt in it. But I could never afford it.
Well, when I saw a tank in the Macdonald of Clan Ranald in my size and, bonus of bonuses, in the 'Ancient' colours for only 55 pounds I knew I had to get it.

It got delivered today and I took some photographs right away.
But... to make things even better, last week I was looking for a tweed jacket to alter in a local charity shop. And I came across a Lovat Green Kilt jacket in my size for 10 pounds!!!!!!

I think they go perfectly together so I went ahead and got some pictures today.
    I am a happy man!

And the pleat shot. (They actually look far better than they do in this picture. It's a bad angle. The pleats line up perfectly to mirror the sett on the front of the Kilt.)

(By the way: I'm wearing my dancing ghillies in the picture because I have no formal shoes until my new pair get delivered in a few days.)

How did you weather the fires last week? I have taken the time off from work to come to your St. Andrews bash. We'll bring our matress and sleeping bags. Anything else?
