Excellent pics, Mike, but you've got me puzzled by this ferry?
Is Langley not one of the train stops on the Esquimalt & Nanaimo Railway on the way out of Victoria towards the Malahat?
I had assumed you lived at that Langley, on the island, but the use of a ferry suggests you had to cross from the mainland at Vancouver.

Very nice pictures Mike. I really like your walking stick, very nice looking.

c152t, I think that you're thinking of Langford, which is just outside Victoria proper, and is on the E & N railway route. Langley is in the lower mainland outside Vancouver. Both are great places!

I didn't bring my digital camera, so I will have to get the photo lab to put my pics on a CD. It was a fun night, and nice to see everyone one again (and to meet Bobbi and Shelley). We hung out until about 12:30 or so. Apparently Andrew and Fred (one of Steve's clients) closed the place listening to the band.
