WACKO 1st Burns night

Well the 1st WACKO Burns night was held saturday night in Seattle. A fine evening was had by 40 people. We got some new recruits to join Xmarks after hearing all our fun and advuce offered here

the whisky table, this seemed to be the gathering spot during the evening

Xmarker Jeff Ross and wife at the buffet, this was a pot luck event and the food was outstanding.

Our local Caldonian Society loaned us some decorations, a huge thanks to them

Well done WACKOS!

It looks like it was a fun time and everyone looks great.

Based on what I know of Streetcar (Kyle) as a performer I wish I could have been there to see his "Address".

I'll wager it brought the house down.

Cheers

Jamie

New to town Mike Glenn stumbled upon our posting on Xmarks and did a great reading of Tam o Shanter. We hope Mike joins the Wackos for some outings

Art Henderson gave us a great reading of The Mouse

all in all a great evening was had by all, this was our first Burns night and if it wasn't for the great info by other veteran groups here on Xmarks we would not have known where to start

George, congratulations on a great evening. Sounds like we'll need to put you in charge of recruitment.
