    Weathered Lamont with accessories...

Here are some pics of my new SWK Weathered Lamont HW. The first 2 photos showing an unusual accessory and the third just the kilt and the new casual, nylon sporran I got from SWK as well. Both were on the closeout rack, but I have not found any blemishes worth noting. I really like the colors. I was not sure at first, but it goes great with the shirt I am wearing, and there are some interesting color possibilities.

On a related note, what does everybody think of the shoes and hose? Been getting warm, so I want to wear the hose pushed down, but am not sure of the look with low rise shoes.

I have to say, that pink and purple accessory you are wearing, while cute, just does not coordinate with the kilt.

Awesome fly plaid - I'm glad you chose not to attach it with a traditional brooch!

Seriously - you both look great

I kinda like the pink and purple accent to your outfit. Looks like fun to have around with that smile Great looking kilt and sporran, but I think I would wear regular length kilt hose with it. BTW just how many cats do you have?

ByDand, we have 4 cats, and 1 dog. the 2 cats that are missing are the brother to the gray tortoise shell on the right, and the negative image (i.e. all black) of the white cat.

I am still debating the hose. I like the comfort and coolness of wearing them down, but not sure about with low rise shoes. Not sure why it makes a difference and I am getting to like it.

Great pics, although I'd wear the sporran a bit higher. Lucky for all of us that is a decision that is up to the wearer!

How is that SWK nylon sporran treating you? I'm thinking about getting one and would like some opinions of it...

I, too, have been pondering one - as with most sporrans on the web, the pictures don't really show all of the details.

Where all of the pockets are, for example, or even with a ruler or other object there to show scale.

More pictures of it would be greatly appreciated.

I am most curious about their claim to conceal a 9mm pistol in this sporran. I drive from Oklahoma to Massachusetts and back at least once a year, and would love to have my pistol along for the ride. Some of the places I go through are a bid shady, and remind me of several bad scenes from 'Deliverance'.

    Hey guys,

The new sporran is really nice, and will probably become my most used sporran. It is about the right height when I adjusted it, but it got pushed down by that pink accessory on my back!

I will post some pics and more details later. I did post a review of the kilt in the general advice section, with some details about the sporran. Will post a separate thread with pics tonight when I get home and access to my camera.
