    A wedding present...

Well, Diane recently received an interesting wedding present from her Aunt Laurie.
Laurie knows a gent from her church who does a lot of painting.
Apparently she saw this and immediately thought of us.

While I've never sen any place in Scotland which looks like that, I am quite fond of the thing.
Now I just have to convince Diane to let me hang it when I get there.

It's lovely artwork, very posed and ideally landscaped, but being a painting it's something you can lose yourself in.

I like it and am sure it will have a proud place in your new home.

A very nice gift. I'm sure you'll love it in your new home together. And maybe it will cause you to think fondly of home, even though it's not a place you've been . . . yet.
