What a bargain, what a service
Last Weds I spoke to the welsh tartan centre to see if they had any ex hire Cilts available for sale. They said they would have a look and call me back. They called back within the hour saying they had a cilt my size but it would need to be shortened by an inch n' half. It had only been worn a few times and was in immaculate condition. The price was amazing and I payed for it over the telephone. They said they would do the alteration Thurs morning and despatch it to me Thurs afternoon for next day delivery. 9.45am Fri morning it arrived at my door.
So I am now the proud owner of an 8yd 14oz 100% pure welsh wool cilt, woven and hand stitched in Wales, in the St David Tartan.
It fits absolutely perfect .. I am really really pleased, and also can only say that The Welsh Tartan Centre now based in Swansea is a very honourable firm to deal with.
So, here are a couple of pics of me new Cilt ... I wore it out Sat & Sun eve when we went out for meals with friends.

Great find! And a very good looking cilt. What is the symbol on the apron below your pin?
