    Wife's Birthday Weekend

My wife likes to celebrate her birthday by going up-island to one of our favourite cottage wineries for lunch. We usually like to poke around the Duncan and Cowichan Valley areas while we're there. Here are a few pics from this last weekend.
Here's the birthday girl in front of the old farmhouse that is now a dining room.

Here is me in front of some grapevines just down from the farmhouse.

This is the next day at Maple Bay. Summer came back for the day!

We had lunch on the deck of a little place at Genoa Bay.

We met a New Zealander (or as he put, an Antipodean person) whose boat was docked at the marina. He kept us laughing while he took our picture!

And another from yet another Antipodean person, or as I prefer, a Kiwi.

The photos of the winery look vine, er, fine.

Glad to see that the nice weather I enjoyed up there almost 3 weeks ago is still holding out.

Thanks for the grape, er, great pics & a belated happy birthday to the missus!
