Great pics Robert, but please no, I HATE those long hours of darkness of midwinter, the lack of daylight is depressing.

LOL! I'm the opposite of you Alex. I love winter! It gives me plenty of time to catch up on all of my DIY projects.

Great pictures and a really nice kilt.

cessna152towser: I have the same issue with lack of light. I've purchased a small UV light that seems to address that difficulty quite well. (I got mine from Lite Book. They have excellent customer service!)

We happen to be above the clouds that blocks the light in winter.

We live in a house 3,900 feet high on a mountain side. The sun just gushes in by the windows all winter long.

    Wink Winter

I love Winter , Kilts are awsome in the Winter and I love wearing wool in the winter. The only thing Sad about winter is the lack of Highland Games.
The Birds and the Games fly south for the winter.
I could go to a Highland game every Saterday.
Can't wait to make my first kilt coat out of a Thrift store wool jacket.

You're considerably more organised than me Robert. I'd probably be chopping up my furniture by mid January.
    Best Regards John

I'd rather put up with the 100+ temps we get here during summer than the cold... But I do have to say that very cold with snow and sunny is a lot more bearable than the UK's more usual grey winters

I miss cool weather. I hate that my work has me so entrenched in the damnable tropics. I can't wait for our Florida winter to return... all 2 weeks of it.
