The Wizard of BC in Scotland

Nobody else seems to have posted any pics of the Wizard of BC on his Scottish tour so I'll start with this pic of the Wizard of BC presenting a bottle of Canadian Maple Leaf whisky to Pour1Malt, which had been sent by Big Mikey.

The south of Scotland rabble went to Cavers for a meal.

Then we took the Wizard of BC to the New Bazaar.

A few paces further down the street to The Coach and Horses

Craig was unable to join us as he was on duty behind the bar at the Coach and Horses.

Next we went to the Globe.

Steve sat on Robert Burns chair and was persuaded to recite one of the bard's poems.

Then we adjourned to the main bar area of the Globe which is in the old stables.

Steve was on hand at Ferintosh first thing this morning to model the Hudsons Bay tartan.

Steve and Bobbie. They will be with the south of Scotland rabble for Guid Nychburris day in Dumfries on Saturday and Hawick Highland Games on Sunday before they move on to Stirling.

The Wizard.........
Great photos as always!
Bobbie's German Heritage that the Wizard made from Rocky's tartan is fantastic.
The Hudson's Bay tartan was unknown to me but is a strikingly elegant tartan.
Looks like you had a great time and again, thank you for posting your great photos.

Glad to see Steve, Bobbie and the Maple Whisky arrived safely. Robertson, I'll have a dram of said whisky in your honour this evening. Enjoy it with my compliments and do be cautious if Bobbie makes it to the cellar. She does like her single malts!

Thanks for posting. We'll be looking for more so we can all share the fun.

The obscure we see eventually. The completely obvious, it seems, takes longer.

Great shots, glad to see The Wizard arrived safely, Alex it's good to see you wearing the SOKS shirt, and it is rather strange to see Robertson sans whiskers. Steve enjoy your time there I'm sure it will go by before you know it.
