Thanks, BEEDEE! I was just wondering if any X Markers made it out to those games. How were they?

I love the hose with the Carolina tartan!

From the pictures I've seen online, it looks like it was a beautiful day in a beautiful setting. Wish I could have been there, too!

I, too! Given that I grew up in the Pee Dee area (just across the South Carolina border), I really need to make a point of it. I kept saying that about its precursor, the Flora MacDonald games, and totally missed out. Let that be a lesson to me.

BEEDEE, those are interesting shoes you are wearing. Are they all leather, or are they a combination leather and another material? Who's the manufacturer?

I went to the first and third games. Well organized and the number of clan tents and pipe bands has at least doubled in three years. I wish there was a better selection of vendors - perhaps you could come next year??

They are leather and fabric from my favorite shoe maker, Clarks.

Thanks, Matt. They are from http://www.handknittedstockings.com/...olour_c67.aspx. The folks at Antidrift were good enough to find a match to my "green" that wasn't from their regular stock of colors. I think they go fabulously with my kilt. I received many complements on them at the games.
