Ok, but I'm still wearing my kilt. Perhaps by the 22nd Century men won't need this forum to have the courage to wear the kilt.

"Common sense" is as much an oxymoron as "miltary intelligence" or "jumbo shrimp" or "free gift" in an advertisement.

Do the language laws in Quebec really require you to hire a mime who doesn't speak French if you hire one who doesn't speak English? Could a mime who doesn't speak either fill both roles at the same time? (Thanks to Calvin Trillin.)

No, it'll be an historical classic, just as the XMarks will be.

Invincible pleats! They never have to be ironed to matter how you store you kilt. Can you imagine it?!? Even if I toss my kilt in the corner (!!!) and leave it there for a week, the pleats are still as sharp as the day I bought it....ah, heaven.

    I'd settle for self-cleaning.

I think a kilt woven with wool threads that can change colors instantly. You can pick which tartan you want to wear each day. Maybe be able to match or complement the kilt of someone you are near. Maybe to change the shade of the tartan to look its best regardless of the lighting. (or become transparent for easier kilt checks?)

I prefer a good kilt now to a better kilt after I'm dead.
